It’s never too early to talk Man United transfer rumors. Obviously, Kevin Strootman is the top priority, and the number one name on Louis van Gaal’s shopping list for January. So we’ll cover that name, as well as a few others today.
Manchester United’s pursuit of Roma midfielder Kevin Strootmanhas been bolstered after the Serie A side’s boss Rudi Garcia admitted that he would not be able to stop the Dutchman leaving (Daily Express). h/t Daily Mirror
Manchester United had offered £30 million and bonuses for Kevin Strootman, according to Roma Newspaper Il Tempo in June.Strootman is a Dutch international footballer who will not play again until this November. The whole package could be £60m.
Dani Alves says he wants to play in the Premier League next season, alerting Manchester United and Liverpool (O Globo).
Arsenal have edged ahead of Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s unsettled striker EdinsonCavani (Daily Star).
Obviously, both The Reds and The Gunners are desperate for strikers. Or at least have a greater need for a forward than United does, so they’re very much likely to outbid the Red Devils.
Nani says he may make his loan from Manchester United toSporting permanent at the end of the season (Independent)
This story makes absolutely no sense as it totally contradicts what Nani himself said yesterday. This is one of the most ludicrous Man United transfer rumors that I’ve ever heard. We’ll be back with more Man United transfer rumors later today.
