You can see the logic – cute dogs, half-naked men, as a charity calendar you can’t go wrong, can you?

Or can you?

The 2015 Hunks And Hounds calendar has ended up being more than a little inadvertently funny/creepy.

From its morbid, dark backdrops to the baby oil-covered, OTT muscle men and the confused-looking pooches squirming in their arms, this really is something else.

Still, it’s for a good cause – New York City-based Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue to be exact.

Well said.

But maybe also it’s that borrowing a mate’s dog and using it as your Tinder pic is not always a fail-proof plan.
