Ancelotti aims to STEAL Brazil’s next superstar away from Chelsea

Carlo Ancelotti

Chelsea fans look fired up in the Football Transfer Tavern after hearing that dthe Champions League winners have joined them in the chase to sign South America's next big superstar.
According to talkSPORT, the Blues face tough competition from big spenders Real Madrid who are looking to go head-to-head with the Londoners to capture Cruzeiro’s young Brazilian star Lucas Silva.
The 21-year-old is seen as one of the most exciting talents in South America and it is believed Jose Mourinho has shown great interest in him and has sent scouts out to view him on several occasions.
But now, Los Blancos have jumped on the bandwagon and have cottoned on to the hype, in turn planning to land him as soon as January.
What makes the youngster so attractive to the big boys is that he is a deep lying midfielder and both clubs are known to be on the lookout to balance their respective midfield ranks.
Especially Madrid, who have come under heavy scrutiny so far this season after deploying a very attacking side, thus making a move for the Brazilian a top priority.
But the good news for our resident Chelsea fans is that they are still seen as the favourites to capture him after Jose Mourinho registered his interest in Silva much longer ago.
Mourinho will hope that the hight concentration of Brazilian players already at Stamford Bridge will help lure him to London.
Silva's current club Cruzeiro are perched at the top of the Brasileirao and Silva has been a key part of their success after featuring 19 times for them so far this season, chipping in with one goal to boot.
