VIEIRA PRAISES CHELSEA TALENT

Arsenal legend believes Chelsea can match Invincibles with unbeaten season
Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has claimed that Chelsea can go this season unbeaten like the Gunners ‘Invincibles’ back in the 2003-2004 campaign, Mirror reports.
Viera captained Arsenal’s 2003-2004 title-winning year going undefeated and believes after seeing the Blues win seven games and drawing one in their eight league appearances, Jose Mourinho’s men have the capability to repeat the amazing feat.
Prompted whether the Gunners’ achievement will ever be matched, Vieira said: “Yes, of course. Records are out there for teams to beat.”
“I think a team will do better than that, but how long it will take we don’t know? Maybe, Chelsea.
“I think one day that record will be beaten. I think that Chelsea look really promising. They have not specially played well but they keep winning and they look really strong.
“Physically, Chelsea look one of the strongest teams in the Premier League. They’ve got quality in [Eden] Hazard, [Cesc] Fabregas is back to his best and [Diego] Costa is scoring goals. So Chelsea look good.”
The former France international went on to add that it was the combination of ability and strong personal bonds that made the ‘Invincibles’ impossible to beat.
“I remember every single thing about it because I’m still in contact with some of the players,” he said.
“We achieved that record because we were quite close [off the pitch] and we were a strong team on it. And when you have quality in the team like Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry, it gives you more chance to achieve this kind of achievement.”
Vieira played 452 games for the Gunners before making a move to Juventus back in 2005.
