The 18-year-old, known in some parts as 'the English Messi', has been tipped for greatness following a number of impressive performances for Karl Robinson's side.
Alli only signed a new deal with the Dons recently, but Robinson admitted at the time that it was likely his star player would shortly be on the move.
The midfielder stole the show in his team's 4-0 Capital One Cup win over Louis Van Gaal's Manchester United, and according to claims in Spain, he has dealt the Red Devils another blow by agreeing a long-term deal with fierce rivals Liverpool.
It is believed that Brendan Rogers will spend £8million on Alli, with the player set to rejoin MK Dons for the remainder of the season.
And manager Robinson conceded that it was just a matter of time before a big club came in for the youngster, saying: "It's inevitable that there will be a time when we will have to let him go, whether that be in January, next summer or whenever."
