England manager Roy Hodgson admits no problem at choosing between Danny Welbeck, Daniel Sturridge and Wayne Rooney

England manager Roy Hodgson admits it is a luxury he can afford to have in the future with all three of his main strikers fit, and insists it will not become an issue for him when it arises.
Danny Welbeck, Daniel Sturridge and Wayne Rooney are England’s most recognised strikers at the current moment, but with Sturridge sidelined it leaves just Rooney and Welbeck to fill the two spots up-front.
Rooney is likely to be deployed in his usual usual No.10 role in the upcoming European Championship qualifying games, with Welbeck leading the line following his two goals against Switzerland last month.
Three England players who should be given a chance against San Marino and Estonia
Hodgson was speaking ahead of the games against San Marino and Estonia, and admits there are no problems selecting between the trio when all are fully fit.
Hodgson said: “There’s no point crossing bridges and thinking ahead to what will happen when they’re all fit.
“We aren’t blessed with an enormous amount of competition for front places and I think there’s now competition with three very good strikers (Welbeck, Sturridge and Rooney) and that’s as healthy a situation we’ve had for a long time.
“There’s no pressure on me. If all three are playing well and all three are available well there’s nothing stopping all three of them playing because they’re complimentary players.”
