The Reds boss would be perfect for the role because of the brand of football he gets his teams playing, according to former Bolton man and one-time England capped Kevin Davies.
"He probably wouldn't leave Liverpool at the moment but might do when Roy's contract is up, at the end of Euro 2016," Davies said.
New £16m signing Mario Balotelli has been backed to become a Kop legend by former Reds midfielder Jan Molby.
Molby said: “Balotelli has started his Liverpool career with a smile on his face, is working hard for the team – and I think he will be appreciated and revered by Reds fans looking for anew hero after Suarez’s exit.
And another club legend Robbie Fowler reckons the Redmen are the strongest they've been in years.
Fowler said: "Full credit to the management and everyone involved in the recruitment process, we've gone out and signed players who can fight for positions all over the pitch," Fowler said.
Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri has confirmed Liverpool did make a bid for him this summer.
The Swiss star admitted he may be tempted to a move to the Premier League in the future but on this occasion the transfer was blocked by the German champions.

AND FINALLY

Chelsea forward Loic Remy has said, while on international duty to the French press, that he still doesn't know why his transfer to Liverpool collapsed this summer.
