Ahead of this weekend's North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham, we look at whose striker has impressed this most so far this season?
Two strikers with points to prove will likely be taking the field during Saturday's North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham, with the Gunners Danny Welbeck eager to make an impression for his new side by outshining Spurs' ex Arsenal star Emmanuel Adebayor, who struggled in the club's last Premier League game against West Brom.
Welbeck will get the chance to make himself an instant Arsenal hero by finding the net against the Gunners' bitter rivals, while Spurs fans will likely be extra vocal with the England forward given rumours that he snubbed them in favour of a move to the Emirates.
The Lilywhites have their own pantomime villain for the home supporters to target though in Adebayor, and the 30-year-old has certainly managed to come back to haunt Arsenal in the past, having netted for both Spurs and Manchester City against his former club.

Each have a single goal and single assist to their name as we approach the sixth game of the 2014-15 Premier League season. The one difference is that Adebayor has helped more teammates have attempts on goal of their own, beating Welbeck 7 to 3. However, considering that the former Manchester United attacker has played roughly half of the minutes the Spurs man has clocked, suddenly Welbeck looks to have the edge on his opposite number.

Adebayor has excelled when it comes to getting on the ball as well as offloading it, having almost double the amount of touches and accurate passes Welbeck has managed. The ex Arsenal striker has also been fouled more times than his counterpart. But once again Welbeck has managed to impress leading the line, and actually leads the more traditional target man Adebayor in winning more aerial duels than the taller Spurs star.
Each striker seems to have their merits, without either having set the world alight so far this year. Of course, whatever the information above, the only stats that matter will be the scoreline at the Emirates come teatime, and which strikers may have contributed to that result.
