The agent of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly keen for his client to return to Old Trafford next summer.
Jorge Mendes, who also represents new United duo Radamel Falcao and Angel di Maria, is rumoured to be ready to convince his client that a return to his former club would be the best option, according to the Express.
Rumours have been building in the past few days that the Portuguese international is unhappy with Madrid chiefs after they allowed di Maria to move to United this summer.
Mendes has backed this up by allowing the Argentina international to publish an open letter criticizing the La Liga giants.
Reports have suggested that the winger didn’t want to leave the Bernabeu, and that Los Blancos asked him not to play in the World Cup final.
If a move to bring Ronaldo back to the Premier League is possible, the paper have reported that it will cost £55m for any deal to be pushed through next summer.
