Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie has warned Radamel Falcao that he needs to fight for his place at the club.
Falcao joined United in a loan deal from Monaco on transfer deadline day and RVP has warned him over the competitive nature of the squad.
“At a top club you should always go for the best, which also fits my philosophy. Falcao must fight for his place, as I also have to,” he told Fox Sports NL.
Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reiterated his love towards the club.
In a longer interview with the Daily Mail, he has said ‘you never know’ over a potential return to Old Trafford.
“I love Manchester - I am happy here in Real Madrid and have four more years, but in the future you never know because they treated me unbelievably there,” he’s quoted according to Sport Witness.
