Wenger Confirms Huge Injury Boost + Update On The Ox

Alex-OxladeChamberlain-Arsenal
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Gabriel Paulista is set to return to training ahead of schedule but we’ll have to wait to find out how long Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be on the sidelines for.
Gabriel picked up a hamstring injury during our 2-1 win at Queens Park Rangers last week and was initially expected to be out for up to a month.
whatMetro have to say here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it seems the Gunners are set to welcome Wellington Silva back after a rather long loan spell.

Work permit issues have dogged Silva since he joined the Gunners and have kept him away from the Arsenal first team and after spending time at a massive FIVE different clubs, the player is finally set to grace the Emirates Stadium with his presence.
As our landlord shows a couple of YouTube videos of the player on the big screen, there is a collective intake of breath and we see just why he has been dubbed the ‘new Neymar’ although as our regulars caution, to be called that is one thing – to deliver in the top flight of English football is quite another!
We think that Arsene Wenger will be thrilled to have the player back – and with a work permit now sorted and the 22-year-old claiming: ‘If all goes well, I’ll be out there next season,’ we think there are some exciting times ahead for Arsenal fans.
