Alexis Sanchez has revealed that he is enjoying the early days of his Arsenal career but admits he hates being on the substitutes bench.
The flying forward has made an impressive start to life at the Emirates Stadium, scoring five goals across all competitions. But despite that form, he has twice been named on Arsenal's bench.

Tactical headache
In fact Arsenal's best performance this season–a 3-0 win away to Aston Villa–came when Sanchez was watching from the sidelines. It appeared Wenger was struggling to fit the Chilean into his set up.
His dynamic forward play has seen Sanchez play in a number of positions. The 25-year-old says he doesn't care where he plays, so long as he is on the pitch
Bench life
Wenger has now been warned by the £35 million summer signing, who has gone as far to say he "hates'" watching his team play from the bench. He doesn't even likes being substituted.
“I can run and cut inside on my left foot, but any position is good for me as long as I’m playing football because I hate being on the bench,” he explained to Arsenal's official website. “If you take me off it’s like you’re taking the ball off me."
Ambition
Having left Barcelona to join the Gunners–signing a deal worth £140,000-a-week–Sanchez unarguably took a step down in the summer. However, his ambitions remain sky high. He believes the quality in Arsenal's squad is sufficient to win everything on offer.
He said: “I want to win everything. Looking at the coaches and players we have, with a winning attitude and ambition, we can win absolutely anything.
“Before I signed, people had told me about how Arsenal were a big club with lots of quality players. Now I’m here I look at all the players during training and realise just what fantastic quality they all have.”
Competition
Winning everything is fraught with complications. The competition in the Premier League has, arguably, never been stronger. Chelsea and Manchester City have benefited from heavy investment while Manchester United continue to dominate financially.
Arsenal are now in a position to compete with their rivals in the transfer window, but face a battle to close to gap in quality. For Sanchez, the quality of the Premier League is higher than anything he has ever experienced.
“Compared to the other leagues I’ve played in, I think this is the hardest and I like it a lot, I really do,” he said.
