Key Leicester pair set to return to face Man Utd on Sunday

Pearson, Leicester

LEICESTER CITY pair Kasper Schmeichel and Matty James could return from injury in time to face Manchester United on Sunday.

James, a product of United's academy, made his recovery from a shin injury in the under-21s' home defeat to Fulham on Monday night.
And Schmeichel, who missed out on the Foxes first victory of the campaign against Stoke on Saturday, will increase his training following a knee injury he picked up during the international break with Denmark.
Boss Nigel Pearson admits both players are likely to come into contention when they face the 20-time Premier League champions.
"It was always our intention to give Matty around an hour and not put him under too much stress," Pearson said.
"He trained all of last week and he has had some pitch time now. So if he has another good week of training, it means it is possible he comes into contention.
"Again Kasper will be increasing his loading in training this week and we will see how he is. I think there is a very real possibility he will be available for the weekend."
